Norwalk, CA

In a historic election, three challengers have been elected in one city council election for the first time since Norwalk was incorporated as a city in the mid 1950's.

Marcel Rodarte, Luigi Vernola, and Leonard Syryock topped a crowded field of 14 candidates to win three seats on the Norwalk City Council.  Voters soundly defeated incumbents Jesse Luera and Rick Ramirez.  This marks a huge "changing of the guard" at Norwalk City Hall.  Voters want real change in this city of nearly 120,000 and the made their voices heard loud and clear.
