I just caught Mario Solis, one of the best sportscasters in Los Angeles on NBC LA, who just did a spot on international soccer goalie Sebastian Saja.
Saja is hot. Like on fire hot. Literally.
He got HIT with a flare during a match on Thursday and the incident has become a You Tube hit within the past couple of hours.
Holy smoke. I guess you can say that Diego Sebastián Saja is now the HOTTEST soccer player in the world. Opps. Sorry for being so "punny," but this newsworthy story has "earned" it's way onto my blog.
BTW...here is more on Saja:

Anyway, Saja is going to be okay. A tad shook up, for sure.
Anyway, Americans just don't get "soccer" like the rest of the world.
We would never set our sports figures on "fire" during a game.
We would wait until after they win a championship game, THEN we would burn the entire neighborhood around the stadium.
Thanks Mario Solis for alerting me to this "clip of the day!"
Be well, man.
