Japan:
The 8.9 Great Earthquake that hit Japan on Friday has caused a nuclear plant to fail, and this could turn out to add to the calamity that has already hit this island nation.
I am watching hopelessly, like the rest of the world, as fires are raging at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear plant. They are now evacuating 20 kilometers from surrounding the plant as we speak.
The roof of the reactor collapsed following an explosion around 3:30 p.m. (1:30 a.m. ET), Japan's Kyodo News Agency reported, citing Tokyo Electric Power Company.
The walls of a building at nuclear power station crumbled, smoke has poured out and Japanese officials said now feared the reactor could melt down following all together. Praying for Japan and the ENTIRE world.
What if this same type of Great Quake would hit the West Coast of California?
Going back to bed to ponder "the world around us."
