Norwalk Vice Mayor Jesse Luera appears to be "doing better" and looks like he is on the road to recovery after he suffered a major health scare and traffic accident last Sunday afternoon.

Image via WikipediaAccording to close family friends, Jesse should be fine, and that his recovery is just going to take "time."


"He is such a touch guy, it's hard to keep that man down. We all have to remind him to take it easy and concentrate on his recovery. He will have to wear a neck brace for about 3 weeks, and do physical therapy, but he's going to be ok," a close family friend of the Luera's told me in an email.

That is some of the BEST news I have heard all this week!

Let us ALL keep Jesse in our Hearts and Prayers. I have known Jesse since I was a "teenager" (gulp) and he is passionate about life, and I only wish him the very very best!  Get WELL, PAL!
