What a joke the campaign for a seat on the Los Angeles Unified School Board turned out to be tonight.
Retired teacher Bennett Kayser is smashing Luis Sánchez in the race for the 5th District seat.
Kayser had 63 percent to Sánchez's 36 percent, according to early returns from the Los Angeles City Clerk's website.
These two are bought and paid for candidates. Kayser's campaign was funded by the teachers unions, and Sanchez was funded by supporters of Mayor Antonio Villiaraigosa.
BENNETT KAYSER 4,358 63.69
Luis Sanchez 2,448 36.31
