Matthew Hanson, Hector Naranjo, Bridgette Rodriguez, Tyronn Smith: 10 and 215 Freeway Interchange crash victims in Colton are named. All lived in San Bernardino.

I have received several notes, asking me if I knew the names of the four people who lost their lives in that horrific crash on the 10 Freeway early Friday morning at around 2:15 a.m. in Colton.




The  San Bernardino County Coroner's Department have id ed the victims as the following:

  • Matthew Austin Hanson, 21 of San Bernardino (Driver)
  • Tyronn Smith, 21, San Bernardino
  • Hector Narajo, 24
  • Bridgette Rodriguez, 20

The four were driving in a 1999 BMW and they overturned and crashed on the "transition" road between both the 10 and  215 Freeways.  It is believed that the vehicle struck a light pole.

My heart and Prayers go out to the families and friends of these four young people.
