It never ceases to amaze me just how many "actual" crime leads are caught on video surveillance cameras.

Apparently another "high profile" case may actually get solved by one of "those eyes in the sky" that seems to track our every move, day in and night out.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Olympic Division Major Assault Crimes detectives are investigating the stabbing of a 25-year-old Hispanic woman that took place a nn April 19th  at around 10 p.m.

The victim was walking on the sidewalk in the area of Melrose Avenue and Irving Boulevard when a suspect described as a Male White or Light- complected Hispanic pushed the victim to the ground and stabbed her multiple times. The suspect then ran away and left her screaming for help.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where she remains in stable condition.

Surveillance video cameras, GdyniaImage via WikipediaDetectives have not determined the motive for the stabbing and are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect and bring him to justice. In a brief video that captured the assault, the suspect was seen wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt, dark shorts and white shoes.

So, watch this clip on this blog post and pass it around to EVERYONE you know who lives in the Hollywood area.
